Annie's House

Annie’s House is a supportive transitional housing program designed to assist single women who are homeless, transition from homelessness to affordable permanent housing. Eligible applicants are required to pay 30% of their gross income for rent. 

Staffing is 24 hours a day, and case management services are extensive to meet the needs of the very diverse population living at the house.  The women can stay at Annie's House for up to two years, with the goal to transition into permanent housing and self-sufficiency.

Criteria for entry:

All applicants must meet the HUD definition of homelessness, i.e. living on the street, car, tent, shelter or places unfit for human habitation.

Applicants are referred from various sources which include (but not all) hospitals, halfway houses, shelters, soup kitchens and correctional facilities.
