Educational Training Method

All ABE/GED and ESOL classes are taught using class based delivery. The instructors deliver lessons via stand up teaching in each class on a daily basis.

Supplementary classroom materials are available for each participant in an effort to help them get additional practice when needed in a particular area. These lessons include teacher made materials and text books with additional related lessons. This additional work allows the instructor time to work individually with students when necessary.

The fast Track GED and math classes allow students to progress at their own rate yet still take advantage of teacher presented lectures. Each student is engaged in lessons that focus on their particular needs to pass the GED exam.

Most classes meet for 15 hours per week. Classes meet from September through July with a few weeks off during school vacation time.
